My name is Gail Doherty and I have the very best job in the world! I purchased my first home right out of college and have been in love with the process ever since. It was a thrill for me to start my own real estate career in 2005. It’s an incredible honor to help people through such an important milestone in their lives. I have been provided the opportunity to meet and work with so many great people.
Having grown up in the Boston area, moving to the “Burbs” was not a decision I made lightly. My love of the ocean and beaches is what drew me to the South Shore and Plymouth specifically. I have an extremely active family so Nature’s playgrounds were a huge draw for me. Where else can you get from the beach to the forest within minutes? I have really come to enjoy the thriving sense of community. It is great to be able to take a walk on the waterfront or through downtown and run into friends and neighbors.
My education and professional background are in social services. While that may not seem to be at all related to the business of Real Estate, you would be amazed at the similarities. This is a business that is all about the people. As a Realtor, I am given the opportunity to advocate for my clients and do the very best for them. This is a task I relish. The ability to listen and really hear what my clients are saying is the cornerstone of my business. Buying or selling a home is not something a person can or should be talked into. It is imperative to be true to the client. Everyone needs someone in their corner. I love being that someone.
